Piramid ( tomatoes) By Theresa Miller

Piramid (tomatoes)
6.5"x6.6" Watercolor on Paper
Before the summer is officially over, I wanted to do one more painting of tomatoes – by far, my favorite subject in the past summer months! In this painting, I enjoyed painting the reflection of the red tomatoes on the silver tray.

Yesterday evening, I spent a couple of very pleasant hours watching artist Susan Carlin painting a portrait on ustream.tv. For those who do not know Susan, she is an accomplished portrait artist in Texas, who has been very generous with her time and knowledge to show us how she goes about painting her beautiful portraits. Check out her blog for details and watch her painting next time – it’s magical!

Theresa,
I'm a "watercolor want-a-be", continually finding inspiration from your paintings. I visit often, not always commenting as I should...but always leave with new knowledge and excitement.

Someday I'll post one of my watercolors...but for now it's just pencil.

I've passed along "Brilliante Weblog" award to you, you can read more about it on my site. Enjoy.
